Professor Ding Rongguiof the School of Management of Shandong University made a report at the World Project Management Forum, which was held online on Dec 16.
His report was entitled "What is happening in China for its Project Economy". He talked about the development of China's project economy and shared China's project innovation practices and project digital transformation process in the past five years as the world's largest developing country.
He introduced the governance system and related education and industrial standards for project management in Chinese society.
He also showcased China's overall strength in the new infrastructure sector, giving examples such as the comprehensive treatment projects of the Maozhou River in Shenzhen and the construction of Huoshenshan Hospital in Wuhan.
The forum has been held since 1992. This year's three-day forum had the tagline "Project Creation in Today's Disruptive World" and attracted 1,500 researchers from over 50 countries, including Russia, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
