Shandong University teams delivered impressive performances at the recently concluded 24th Daming Lake Dragon Boat Invitational Race.

The university participated with two dragon boat teams and secured third place in both the 200-meter and 500-meter races, demonstrating excellent teamwork.

The members of this year's Shandong University Dragon Boat teams were selected from the university's Student Dragon Boat Association. The drummer came from the university's School of Arts, while the paddlers were mainly students from the School of Physical Education.

The Daming Lake Dragon Boat Race is a distinctive folk cultural event in Jinan, held in celebration of the Dragon Boat Festival, which falls on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month. This year's race took place from May 31 to June 2.
