The Chinese music orchestra of Shandong University's School of Arts performed at a grand reception hosted by the Chinese Embassy in Singapore on Sept 30, celebrating the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 35th anniversary of China-Singapore diplomatic relations.
Invited by Chinese Embassy for the first time, the orchestra presented a rich and diverse repertoire, ranging from festive classics and graceful melodies to vigorous pipa solos and powerful erhu ensemble pieces.
The splendid performance captured the grandeur of China's landscapes, the charm of its ethnic cultures, and the vitality of its music traditions, filling the venue with both joyous energy and poetic tranquility.
