Ding Ronggui, dean of the School of Management at Shandong University (SDU), visited three universities in South Korea from Aug 16 to 19 to discuss academic exchanges and future cooperation.
The visit covered Yonsei University's MIRAE Campus, School of Business at Sungkyunkwan University, and the College of Business and Economics at Chung-Ang University. The three universities are well-established institutions in South Korea, with extensive experience in business education, international accreditation and global academic cooperation.
At Yonsei University's MIRAE Campus, Ding participated in a summer exchange program jointly organized by SDU's School of Management and Yonsei University's College of Humanities & Social Sciences Convergence. Representatives from the two schools discussed the renewal of their exchange agreement, faculty exchanges and joint education programs. Ding also introduced SDU's undergraduate and postgraduate programs, MBA programs and executive education.
At Chung-Ang University, Ding met with representatives from the College of Business and Economics and the Graduate School of Business. The two sides discussed potential cooperation on joint master's programs, faculty exchanges and executive education.
Following the talks, both institutions signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with SDU, establishing a framework for longer-term cooperation.
This visit expanded the School of Management's cooperation network in South Korea and laid the groundwork for further faculty and student exchanges between SDU and its South Korean partners.
