Bio:

Sun Yihua, researcher of Dunhuang Acedemy, mainly engaged in renovation, protection, surveying and mapping of historic buildings. He attended and hosted many renovation and protection projects of ancient buildings such as surveying and mapping of Binglingsi Grottos, prophase reinforcement and surveying and mapping of the site of Yulin Grottoes, surveying and mapping, designing of repairing scheme, and reinforcement project of Shangsi, Zhongsi and the Sixteenth Grotto of Mogao Grottoes, etc. He also authored or co-authored the Collected Edition of Dunhuang Grottos and published a number of Academic research papers.
