Speaker: Guoli Chen is a Professor of Strategy and the Mubadala Chair in Corporate Governance and Strategy at INSEAD. He received his Ph.D. in strategic management from the Pennsylvania State University. He teaches Blue Ocean Strategy, Competitive Strategy, China Strategy, Corporate Strategy, Corporate Governance and Incentive Design for MBAs, EMBA, Executives and PhD participants. He has also been invited as a keynote speaker in various events. Guoli’s research focuses on the role of executives and boards of directors in organizational growth, renewal and sustainability. He has published extensively on the world’s leading academic journals, such as theAcademy of Management Journal,Administrative Science Quarterly,Organization Science,Strategic Management Journal,Management Science,Journal of International Business and Studies, andLeadership Quarterly. His papers have received many awards at the Academy of Management Conference and Strategic Management Society Conference (SMS). His articles and opinions also appear in newspapers and magazines, such asBarron’s,Bloomberg,Business Times,China Daily,Financial Times,Forbes,Harvard Business Review(online),Jakarta Post,South China Morning Post,Washington Postetc.
